Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Monitor and explain deviations from expected Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Perform necessary Operator Checklists and data collection of quality measurements.
• Correct deviations from quality standards to ensure product specifications are met.
• Perform maintenance tasks and troubleshoot machine and process issues.
• Maintain accurate production reporting documentation.
• Perform scheduled production equipment changeovers with minimal impact on OEE.
• Manage preventative maintenance tasks using Computerized Maintenance Management Software.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness and showroom condition post-maintenance.
• Tag components or parts for repair, replacement, or improvement.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of production equipment after changeovers.

Essential Skills

• Machine operation and inspection.
• Preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Quality inspection and control.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting.
• Machine setup and adjustments.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Forklift and blow mold machine operation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $45760.00/yr.
