Job Summary:
The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for an Architect to join us in Singapore supporting the ASEAN region. In this role, you will promote the adoption of Red Hat's solutions at our key enterprise accounts, government agencies, and service provider partners. You'll define requirements and deliver solutions based on the Red Hat portfolio of solutions and services offerings. You will lead small to medium-sized project teams and ensure the quality of customer deliverables for one or more projects. You will apply well-developed consulting, business, and process expertise in your work and coach and mentor others while building good customer relationships. You will earn the trust and confidence of our customer Project, Development, and Operations teams by matching their requirements and use cases with the functional capabilities of our solutions. As an Architect, you will serve as a customer advocate within Red Hat, delivering the right solutions and ensuring that these solutions are implemented and supported in a creative and reliable way.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement modern platform architectures with a strong understanding of Red Hat OpenShift, container orchestration, and automation at scale.
- Win the confidence of our customers through the successful delivery of discovery, analysis and design workshops that shape and influence the customer’s architecture design decisions to align with the Red Hat solution.
- Understand industry practices and Red Hat's policies, procedures, and values
- Remain hands-on with development and implementation — especially in prototyping, Design and agile iterative delivery.
- Must be able to both make strategic business recommendations and influence project direction toward business goals
- Trusted advisor to technical Red Hat and customer resources
- Considers customer culture/organization in their design and delivery of their projects and brings attention to opportunities for improvement
- Support technical presales efforts, workshops, and proofs of concept, bringing in business context and value-first thinking.
- Strong experience in defining best practices for platform deployment, platform hardening, platform observability, monitoring and alerting, capacity management, scalability, resiliency, security operations.
- Create reusable reference architectures, best practices, and delivery models, and mentor others in applying them.
- Contribute to the development of standard consulting offerings, frameworks, and capability playbooks.
- Accelerates collaboration across stakeholders and the different teams in the project
Required Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years of experience working in a consulting and architecture roles
- Hands On Experience and advanced knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift platform.
- In-depth expertise in managing multiple Kubernetes clusters across multi-cloud environments.
- Proven expertise in operationalization of Red Hat OpenShift container platform through the adoption of Service Mesh, GitOps principles, and Serverless frameworks
- Migrating to OpenShift container platform
- Proven leadership of modern software and platform transformation projects
- Experience with infrastructure as code, automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines
- Practical understanding of microservices, API design, and DevOps practices
- Applied experience with agile, scrum, and cross-functional team collaboration
- Ability to advise customers on platform and application modernization, with awareness of how platforms support emerging AI use cases
- Good customer-facing skills, ability to present to customers and lead customer interactions
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills with both technical and business audiences
- Engagement in open source communities or contributor background
- Must have Red Hat OpenShift certification
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift AI, Red Hat OpenShift Virtualisation, or similar platforms
- Experience with Enterprise Architecture (like, TOGAF, Zachman)
