Job Title: Asbestos Worker / Laborer - Direct Placement

Job Description

As an Asbestos Worker, you will be responsible for removing hazardous building materials from residential and commercial structures, including tasks related to demolition, asbestos, lead paint, and mold remediation.

Responsibilities

  • Remove hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead paint, and mold from buildings.
  • Perform demolition and environmental restoration work.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations during asbestos abatement.
  • Conduct asbestos inspections and manage asbestos removal processes.
  • Wear personal protective suits and respirators in contained work environments.
  • Work in confined areas with high temperatures and perform heavy physical tasks over prolonged periods.
  • Travel locally within the assigned region to perform duties.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in building trades, demolition, HVAC, water mitigation, construction, asbestos, lead, or mold remediation.
  • Asbestos experience and certification are preferred.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and management.
  • Ability to perform industrial cleaning and construction field restoration.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Capability to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and crawl for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in using a respirator without obstruction.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Willingness to complete a background check and drug test.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $45760.00/yr.
