Job Description

Join our team as a Fabrication Laborer where you will be an integral part of the fabrication and finishing department, working creatively to construct fiberglassstructures. This entry-level position offers a hands-on experience in packing, crating, drilling, sealing, and making precise angle cuts on fiberglass products using various hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate fiberglass structures by packing, crating, and drilling holes.
• Apply handles and seal ends of products efficiently.
• Make angle cuts using chop saws.
• Utilize nail guns, chop saws, drills, and other hand tools with proficiency.
• Maintain mechanical inclination to handle tasks effectively.

Essential Skills

• Pass a tape measure test.
• Possess at least 3 months of experience in production, construction, or manufacturing.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using hand tools and power tools such as wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, tape measures, hammers, power drills, and nail guns.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• No specific qualifications required other than passing the tape measure test.
• Good attendance and reliability are crucial.

Work Environment

Work in a fiberglass environment requiring steel toe boots, where jeans and t-shirts are appropriate attire. The facility is clean despite the itchy texture and strong odor typical of fiberglass work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alum Bank, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
