Job Description

Join our team as a Machine Operator where your primary role will involve operating CNC production machines to meet production requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring quality standards, maintaining tooling, and managing coolant and oil levels. The position requires working with advanced CNC machines from Toyoda, Haas, Mori Sieki, and Doosan, most of which use Fanuc Controls.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC production machines according to production requirements.
  • Maintain quality standards per ISO specifications.
  • Manage and maintain tooling used in the machine.
  • Monitor and maintain coolant and oil levels.
  • Utilize inspection tools such as Micrometers, Calipers, and Bore Gauges.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with machine operating and CNC machinery.
  • Proficiency in using Micrometers and Calipers.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Direct experience in machine operation.

Work Environment

The work environment is a vertically integrated metal manufacturing setting, featuring a full melt and pour foundry alongside a machine shop for finished parts. CNC machines are organized into machining centers and are primarily FANUC controlled, including Toyoda, Haas, Mori Sieki, and Doosan Milling Machines. The machine shop is not climate controlled. Safety is a priority; steel toe or safety toe shoes are required, and safety glasses, ear protection, and gloves are provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.56 - $20.56/hr.
