We are seeking a dedicated 1st shift Mechanical Assembler to meticulously assemble compressors. This position requires fitting, feeling, and installing gauges, shims, oil passageways, O-rings, and seals into units. The role demands a keen eye for detail, ensuring quality is maintained throughout the assembly process. The assembler will be responsible for blowing out units and deburring when necessary, as even a single dent or ding could compromise the entire unit. The use of overhead cranes or hoists is required for castings weighing over 35 pounds, with an average of four stages per day.
