JOB SUMMARY
Performs all diagnostic computerized tomographic imaging procedures which are offered by the department in
accordance with department protocols. Performs all procedures following exam protocol on neonatal, pediatric,
adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Provides direct patient centered care that ensures the highest quality and
well-being of each patient. Prepares and administers contrast per department policy/procedure. Optimizes computer
images to enhance diagnostic information for Radiologist interpretation. Performs x-rays as needed by department.
Collaborates with members of the health care team to promote clinical excellence demonstrating commitment to the
purpose, vision and values of St. John's Health. Delivers services according to the Scope of Service for Diagnostic
Imaging and participates in Performance Improvement activities. Adheres to and practices SJH Corporate
Compliance Program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
Required: NA
Minimum Work Experience
Required: Experience in CT, trauma and surgery. Excellent interpersonal, customer service and phone etiquette skills.
Preferred: 2 years working as a Radiographer and CT Technologist in a hospital setting.
Required Licenses: Registered with ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT) within 1 year of hire, BLS required. ARRT in Radiology (R)
and WY Radiologic Technologist license.
FUNCTIONAL DEMANDS
Working Conditions
Radiation exposure. Hospital setting. Must be on-site at the SJH campus or other facilities to fulfill the responsibilities
of this role.
Physical Requirements
80% of shift standing and walking. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to lift 10 pounds overhead.
Intermittent sitting, reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, overhead lifting and computer use.
