Specifically, you will be part of the Cross Architecture Team, whose vision is to pave the way to a truly integrated SAP Signavio Suite. Our purpose: We connect Signavio product & engineering via common architecture to build a future-proof Signavio Suite with confidence.

Working closely with the leadership in the Technology & Architecture, this Project Manager will join the Cross Architecture team and work on mission critical and highly strategic projects that influence and impact not only our group but the whole engineering department. Having relevant development experience, you feel comfortable around tools like Git, Wiki, JIRA, and Confluence.

You will be interfacing with many different levels of stakeholders: from engineers in cross functional teams to SAP Signavio customers as well as our VPs.

Building alignment, adjusting your communication to the audience, documenting progress and managing change are skills that you already possess and feel comfortable expressing. You should also feel comfortable approaching and meeting new people – fostering healthy work relationships and building trust in order to move projects forward.

What you will do

  • Define success criteria and timely milestones to be reached by each project
  • Engage Stakeholders, understand their needs, address their concerns, and work around their constraints
  • Communicate clearly, regularly, and unambiguously, leveraging different kinds of channels such as: emails, Slack channels, group meetings, 1:1s, and presentations
  • Document frequently and abundantly, demonstrating progress in both written as well as a visually enticing way
  • Ensure the timely delivery of high stakes projects – building consensus when possible and working towards an agreed upon definition of done
  • Raising conflicts early and often, you will facilitate workshops among participants to find common ground and clearly define responsibilities and ownership of different topics

What you bring

  • Ability to build trust and foster relationships with diverse people
  • Emotional resilience, a “can do” and positive attitude, being able to keep composure under pressure
  • Practical experience and confidence with Stakeholder Engagement, Stakeholder Management, and Change Management
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and significant practical experience in applying them
  • Familiarity and comfort around tools such as: Wiki, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Experience with IT project management
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills in English
  • Workshops facilitation skills: being able to extract and organize participants needs, constraints, and goals in straightforward and interesting ways

IMPORTANT: The contract for this position is a maternity cover. It should start in September 2025 or later and will be set for up to 12 or 15 months. The contract might end sooner if the employee opts to come back earlier than planned.
