Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Sr. Manager, Data Scientist: Formulate and apply mathematical and modeling methods and business analytics towards data extraction and manipulation in support of business intelligence initiatives. Duties include: apply advanced quantitative, data modeling, and machine learning methods to lead the development, validation, and delivery of algorithms, statistical models, and reporting tools; leverage data science, analytics, and large-scale optimization of digital properties and applications to develop predictive models that maximize behavioral change; identify and solve data modeling and machine learning problems, including validating information, applying quantitative judgment, and applying complex algorithms and artificial learning; perform validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and reformulate models as necessary; and act as an analytics product owner and translate business needs into data analytics projects and recommendations. Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; Traditional relational data warehouse technologies: Oracle, Teradata, or DB2; Cloud technologies: Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP); R, Python, or SQL; Tableau; Machine learning, statistical analysis, or predictive modeling; Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting; Domain support for healthcare or retail; and Relational database concepts.
Pay Range: $125882.00/year to $230000.00/year.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
