We’re currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler II to join our team here in Round Rock. In this role, you’ll be hands-on with precision work—building, assembling, and testing a range of intricate components that contribute directly to the success of our products. Position: Assembler II
Pay: $22/hour
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Solder and assemble small parts with precision, including surface mount and fine-pitch components
- Use micro welding, brazing, and fusing techniques on miniature parts—some under a microscope
- Work with stainless steel and copper tubing: cutting, bending, and prepping for assemblies
- Measure and prepare wire and cable components using hand tools and measurement instruments
- Assemble, test, and inspect components using hand tools and digital equipment
- Apply adhesives, lubricants, and other materials to prepare assemblies—some with special handling procedures
- Perform pass/fail testing, including calibration tests using temperature-controlled environments
- Label and mark parts with etching or stamping tools
- Help train newer team members when needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Follow quality guidelines and standard operating procedures closely
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED
- Around 5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or assembly (preferred)
- Comfortable reading and interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and written instructions
- Skilled with basic computer tools and equipment used in assembly and testing
- Soldering experience required; electronics training is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Comfortable sitting, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Eager to learn and improve processes—someone who takes pride in doing the job right
