Job Description
The School of Professional Studies M.S. in Technology Management program is seeking industry professionals with experience in to serve as part-time Lecturers for a graduate-level course for Cybersecurity.
This course examines tactical orientation once a security threat has been identified and is at the point of requiring immediate analysis and response in order to mitigate damage and loss to the organization. In this course, we will also review strategic design of the connected defensive structure, built of tools, policies and procedures, and integrations. Business model relationships to security threat profile will be examined, in particular managing vulnerability introduced through mergers and acquisitions and active directory migrations. The roles of the Board,
Regulators, Executives, and Risk Managers, will be covered. Service and administrative account management and other aspects of network design, management and operation will also be reviewed. Students will investigate recent newsworthy cases. We will devise countermeasures aimed at incident prevention and effective Cyber Incident Response (CIRT) management and monitoring.
