What You Will Do:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Wichita Falls as a Plating Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for plating OEM components such as small blades and nozzles. You will play a key role in assisting the team’s operation of repairing the hot sections of the engines in our facility.

This position will train on our 1st shift for up to 6 months before moving into the regularly scheduled 2nd shift. The 2nd shift will be Monday-Thursday from 3pm-1am (4x10 hour shifts).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Titration of all chemical baths, pH checks and inspection of Platinum content of plating by baths by XRF methods.
  • Loading and unloading of workpieces into racks, racks into the plating line and inspecting of the plating by XRF and weight gain to determine pass/fail of plated workpieces.
  • TPM’s of all Plating equipment (not LOTO PM) according to TPM and cleaning schedules.
  • Must be able to correct under or over-plated conditions to achieve the desired deposition as well as logging the plating results.
  • Knowledge of processes, processes alarms and trouble shooting.
  • High attention detail to the instruments that are giving feedback on the progressing chemical reaction.
  • Initiating/work with automated processes to ensure workpiece flow.
  • Maintain proper electronic and paper documentation.
  • Ensure all environment, health and safety rules, requirements, and procedures are adhered to.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work in a team environment or with minimal supervision.
  • Basic/intermediate computer and math skills.
  • Be able to use the instrument data to control the reaction.
  • Previous Electroplating/Large equipment and Aerospace/Manufacturing experience.

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
