Ansell is looking for a Assoc Specialist Product Data Management to join our team in Cyberjaya.

This position is responsible for ensuring that the Product Data Hub (PDH), Product Information Management (PIM) system and any other location or repository having product information are updated, maintained, and have excellent integrity and data quality, for all products under his/her business unit (BU). The person will be seen as the point of reference and expert for all product setup and creation tasks. The person also contributes to the overall function of Global Product Team as well as the QARA PMO in completion of tactical product management and related projects.

What your role will be?

Reporting to Associate Manager, Product Data Management, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Responsible for product setup in Product Data Hub system (PDH) and any other relevant ERP systems for the assigned BU, ensures the product flows through to GTC (Global trading company) before activation in Regional ERPs
  • Manages individual and mass change requests and uploads where required, taking detailed information, and ensuring accurate entry into the relevant system
  • Ensures data quality across systems, and will be seen as the point of reference and expert for all product setup and data integrity tasks
  • Responsible for new product information, correctly launched in the Product Information Management system (PIM) which reflects the key product message and value proposition on ansell.com
  • Maintains strong relationships with regional master data analysts to ensure that new product launches are not delayed due to incomplete setup and orders can be placed on the plants in time
  • Understands the Innovation and New product pipeline and able to priorities product setups for the key new products
  • Supports GPPMs and RPPMs with tactical product management projects and products transfers. Also supports in approval processes of product related data through COMIND process
  • Coordinate and follow-up on product data changes with Artwork Centre (AWC) team on product artwork creation and updates, Guardian product updates
  • Supports GPPM with product data management in New Product Development projects, including key Stage Gate deliverables, such as product certification and packaging briefs
  • Coordinate with GPPM, RPPM and relevant regional teams on inactivation and discontinuation of codes for rationalized and discontinued products or SKUs
  • Executes work on product data related projects as well as any other products related change or improvement projects as assigned
