Robert Bosch LLC seeks Technical Project Manager (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 15000 Haggerty Road, Plymouth, Michigan 48170. Serve as Technical Project Manager (TPjM) for North American driver assistance projects specifically involving radar technologies. These projects include features like Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Automatic Emergency braking (AEB), Traffic Jam Assist (TJA), and Highway Assist (HWA). First point of contact as technical customer interface and engineering lead for customer project(s). Monitor preparation and execution of technical presentations for both internal and external customer meetings. Responsible for ensuring the product performance and the fulfilment of the system requirements (including safety, security requirements when available). Serve as Technical lead of engineering project team focusing on base SW and HW. Strong collaboration with stakeholders located in North America and in Europe such as Technical Project Manager for video component, platform Technical Project Manager, and Regional / Global Technical Managers. Ensure system development, validation, and delivery are according to guidelines and processes such as ISO26262 and ASPICE. Lead software development activities including work package definition and tracking, release planning, resource planning, and quality assessments/audits according to Bosch process landscape. Support test drives with customers. Project handling and status documentation according to Bosch process landscape. Monitor monthly reporting of project status to management in US and Germany. Support CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) to optimize development processes and day to day activities. REQS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field plus 3 years of experience as a Software Component Project Manager, Project Manager, or an occupation involving the development of software and embedded systems for the automotive industry. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Release procedures in the automotive industry (system test, system integration, and vehicle integration); (2) Driver assistance sensor technologies and functions; (3) Agile approaches and XC-AS Process Landscape; (4) JIRA, DOORS and RQM; (5) Software programming languages (C, C++ or Python); (6) Radar principles and iGPM (MCR or OneQ); and (7) Vehicle architecture and driver assistance interfaces. Telecommuting: Up to 3 days per week work from home permitted. Travel Requirements: 10% international and domestic travel.
