Gift Shop Assistant Manager | Part Time - 25 hours | Day

Minimum Starting Pay: $16.83

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Must be flexible for occasional gift shop coverage for an open shift in the day or evening.

Summary

Under the direction of the Manager, the Assistant Manager assists with the management, oversight, and coordination of department operations including but not limited to order submission, inventory, planning and execution of merchandising strategies, and coaching new and existing staff. In the absence of the Manager, the Assistant assumes supervisory role to ensure uninterrupted Store operations, provide support to staff, and communicate with Department Director, and CH Associates as required.

Education

Associate's degree required.

Certification, Registration & Licensure

None.

Experience

Minimum 3+ years in retail supervisory capacity, or combined retail experience with supervisory experience in business or related field. Proficiency in POS system, proved merchandising/display strategies. Understanding of Inventory control.
