As a Regional Project Manager under Global Services within Global Banking, you will support our APAC region’s strategic priorities, business transformation and operational efficiency initiatives. Focus will be on improving end-to-end processes and tools that will enhance the client and employee experience while driving a continuous improvement culture. You will manage and bring to successful execution various, highly visibility cross-functional projects by assessing the current landscape, developing plans, managing dependencies, analyzing potential risks/benefits, and working with key partners.

Job responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple fast-paced, cross-functional strategic priorities that have significant regional and global impact
  • Develop and manage the Regional Playbook, Reports & Scorecards for the Region; working effectively at all levels and providing progress communications to stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Project manage & drive towards concrete actionable deliverables, identify and escalate issues/risks, and achieve agreement on scope and delivery milestones
  • Partner with various stakeholders (Sales, Service, Ops, Tech and Product) and SMEs to identify and address efficiency opportunities to continuously improve the business
  • Be a part of the solution – leading or participating in Global or multi-regional working groups to achieve the best business value possible
  • Maintain our control environment by ensuring projects are completed in accordance with all Risk, Control and other relevant firmwide guidelines
  • Own and custodian of Implementation Tools, Automation and Processes

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Management
  • Strategic thinker with proven analytical abilities, with proven track record in driving strategy execution, process transformation, change management and/or business consulting
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills; must be able to present and communicate progress and issues to the team and stakeholders regularly, clearly and effectively
  • Advanced MS PowerPoint and MS Excel skills, with demonstrated ability to simplify complex subject matter into digestible executive communications
  • Proven ability to work independently & through ambiguity and define path forward
  • Demonstrated initiative and creativity to ensure successful and timely execution
  • Intellectual curiosity and propensity to learn new subjects quickly, with strong inter-personal skills to instill confidence and trust
  • University Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Industry experience in Transaction Banking, Corporate Finance or Payment service providers like Fintech or Merchant Acquiring, Business Operations
  • Experience in AI/ML applications or in automation tools e.g. Alteryx, UiPath, Python, etc.
  • Demonstrates ability to initiate and execute process improvement or transformative changes
  • Knowledge and experience using workflow tools (Visio), SharePoint and Business intelligence tools like Tableau
  • Certified Project / IT service management qualification
