Amazon Web Services is rapidly expanding its global presence and we are looking for a highly motivated Security Assurance Program Manager to join our China Security Assurance team. As part of the Amazon Web Service Security Assurance team, you will build the bridges between security, technology and compliance by working directly with our service teams, infrastructure teams, security teams, related Amazon corporate teams, our Sellers of Record (SOR), and Government authorizing officials. You will join industry-leading security professionals and Program Managers in supporting customers to ensure that our infrastructure is designed, operated, maintained, and protected in accordance to global regulated industry standards.

You should be a technically experienced and innovative on security, compliance, and audit professional who can understand IT processes, communicate to your customers, and to be able to drive innovative process changes across multiple organizations and teams.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead technical control environment assessments and communicate compliance implications to internal and external audit teams, focusing on data security, cryptography compliance requirements and security product functional analysis.
• Design, optimize security audit processes in documentation for audit preparation and implementation efficiently.
• Coordinate with control owners to maintain audit readiness and manage environmental changes
• Execute improvement projects with service teams to resolve audit findings
• Develop expertise in Amazon Web Service security solutions to support business partner’s compliance programs and implement compliance needed operational processes and technical controls in cloud environments
• Serve as security advisor to improve organizational audit processes and share best practices
• Provide security consultation for internal and external audit need, such as audit related artifact, knowledge sharing, etc.
• Apply global and local security regulation and policy to drive alignment to Amazon Web Service controls

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Informatics, Accounting/Auditing, or other related fields.
• Experienced in security or compliance consulting or advisory work in in support of a highly technical environment.
• Experienced in performing and/or participating in technical assessments in direct support of a major compliance effort (e.g., MLPS, Trusted Cloud, Cybersecurity Law, PCI, or ISO 27001).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Good in English communication across written and verbal formats
• Proven track record of leading organizational change initiatives with measurable outcomes
• Delivered multiple IT process improvement projects in technology-focused environments
• Created and implemented automated metrics systems to evaluate IT process performance
• Expertise in cloud computing architecture and deployment strategies
• Experience in conducting technical assessments including Network infrastructure, Operating systems, Application security, IT process audits, etc.
• Proficiency in software development lifecycles and modern transaction processing
• Demonstrated expertise in security standards and frameworks of common compliance systems, plus Crypto and Data, as well as security dedicated product compliance is preferred. Track record of developing and executing certification roadmaps aligned with customer requirements, implemented automated security control systems with demonstrated results
• Experience partnering with auditors on compliance assessments
