Description

Darigold is looking for a general Labor Operator in our Rework department at our Spokane dairy manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for following all Food Safety and Quality requirements as outlined in Darigold’s Good Manufacturing Policy, the position Standard Operating Procedures, and facility employee training sessions. The position is also required to report any concerns that may impact Food Safety or Quality to their immediate supervisor. Occasional overtime may be required to complete assignments.

What You will Do

  • Scan & load reclaim
  • scan & load fcr hog
  • maintain reclaim area and troubleshooting ways to reduce it
  • sort through product and returning sellable product back to stock
  • keep area clean and orderly
  • keep all necessary paperwork in good order
  • be willing to learn all facets of milk production and fill in when necessary
  • work with the Quality Assurance manager to fulfill state mandates on all records and GMPs and work on process improvement projects
  • Must be willing to learn other areas of production
  • Must fulfill other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to understand and comply with GMP’s
  • Ability to communicate and work well with others and management
  • Must be able to work safely with chemicals needed to clean equipment
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision in a fast paced environment.
  • Attention to detail, must be able to complete multiple and repetitive tasks.
  • Must be committed to accuracy and quality.
  • Must maintain high attendance standards and be trusted with a high level of responsibility.
  • Must be capable of heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, mechanical skills desirable.
  • Able to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $21.20 to $26.50 per hour
