CNC Programmer

Aerotek is currently hiring for a CNC Programmer Baltimore! Qualified candidates will be able to perform the following duties:

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer with strong experience in Mastercam to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs to produce precision components according to engineering specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Precisely machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as CNC mills, and 3 and 5 axis routers, including Haas and DMS
  • Develop and edit CNC programs usingMastercamfor milling and turning operations.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
  • Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for various materials.
  • Collaborate with machinists and engineers to ensure efficient production.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing programs to improve quality and cycle times.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of MasterCAM and SolidWorks
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM systems
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities using safe and proper techniques in accordance with company standards
  • Ability to consistently achieve productivity standards
  • Compliance with all health and safety regulations

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00/hr.
