Job Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for each shift, responsible for effectively troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all machinery and facility equipment throughout the plant.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machinery throughout the plant, including powder coating lines, conveyor lines, hoists, blast booths, ovens, saws, welders, and plasma cutters.
• Regularly troubleshoot electrical systems up to 3-phase 480v, change out electrical motors, and follow schematics when available.
• Install new machinery using material handling equipment, lifts, and/or pour concrete.
• Complete a detailed preventative maintenance schedule.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems by following ladder logic, if necessary.
• Conduct facilities maintenance, including lighting, plumbing, carpentry, and overhead doors.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks.
• Regularly use multi-meters.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of multi-craft industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance, including hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and conveyors.
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, reading schematics, using multimeters, and troubleshooting up to 480v 3-phase.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLCs, read ladder logic, and troubleshoot relays, switches, and sensors.
• Experience in facility maintenance, including lighting, plumbing, carpentry, and overhead doors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• PLC programming skills are beneficial.
• Possession of certifications, degrees, or completed courses related to skilled trades.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Work Environment

This role is based in a powder coating facility that processes finished products from other plants in the area. The environment is fast-paced, often hot, and features equipment such as welders, blast booths, large lay-down yards, and ovens. Shifts include 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and weekend day shifts, with shift differentials available. Expect to work 40-50 hours per week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
