Job Description

  • We are looking for a skilled CNC Grinding Technician to join our team for the 3rd shift, Sunday through Thursday, from 9:30 pm - 6:00am.
  • This role comes with a shift premium of $1.25 per hour.
  • The position involves dressing and measuring wheel packs, setting up and operating CNC machines, and running plunge and fluting machines.

Responsibilities

  • Dress and measure wheel packs accurately.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines efficiently.
  • Run plunge and fluting machines with precision.
  • Complete required documentation thoroughly.
  • Maintain and repair CNC machines as needed.
  • Wash tools and perform surface grinding.
  • Handle equipment with care and ensure proper usage.
  • Keep the shop clean and organized at all times.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Computer literate
  • CNC machining experience and/or ability required
  • Must have ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Must have the ability to write and complete routine reports
  • Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $52000.00/yr.

MEDICAL INSURANCE

Coltene currently offers all full-time employees and eligible dependents group medical coverage

effective the first day of the month following date of hire. An employee is not required to elect

coverage, but if coverage is elected, the employee is required to contribute toward the premium

on a pre-tax basis.

It should be understood that the health care industry is constantly in a state of rapid change, and

as a consequence, Coltene's group health care plan(s) may change from time to time or may be

discontinued. Premium rates and terms of coverage may change.

Detailed descriptions of Coltene's medical insurance plans and the required employee

contributions may be obtained from the Human Resources Department. General questions about

your health insurance coverage may be addressed to the Human Resources Department, but

specific questions should be addressed to the Care Coordinator of the plan that you have joined

or are interested in joining.

DENTAL INSURANCE

Coltene currently offers all full-time employees and eligible dependents with a base plan of dental

coverage with no premium contributions required. A “buy up” dental plan with enhanced benefits

is available as well which requires employee contributions toward the premium. A complete

summary of benefits is available in the Human Resources Office.

VISION INSURANCE

Coltene currently offers all full-time employees and eligible dependents a plan of vision coverage

which requires employee contributions toward the premium. The plan utilizes the Vision Service

Plan (VSP) network. A complete summary of benefits is available in the Human Resources Office.

SHORT TERM DISABILITY

Coltene currently provides all full-time employees Short Term Disability benefits for a maximum

of thirteen (13) weeks for non-occupational accident or illness if an employee is medically certified

as disabled. Benefits begin on the 8th consecutive calendar day of disability. During a period of

short-term disability, your medical benefits are continued by Coltene, but you are obligated to

reimburse Coltene for your share of the medical benefits premium while you are off work. Contact

the Human Resources Department for eligibility and coverage rules.

LONG TERM DISABILITY

Coltene currently provides all full-time employees Long Term Disability benefits on the 91st day

of any one period of total disability if medically certified as disabled. During a period of long-term

disability, your medical benefits are continued by Coltene, but you are obligated to reimburse

Coltene for your share of the medical benefits premium while you are off work. Contact the Human

Resources Department for eligibility and coverage rules.

LIFE INSURANCE

Life Insurance is provided to all full-time employees and the premiums are currently paid by

Coltene. This benefit includes an Accidental Death & Dismemberment rider. The guarantee of

payment is backed by the credit worthiness of the Life Insurance carrier, not Coltene. Employees

may purchase additional life insurance at their own expense during the open enrollment period.

The cost of voluntary life insurance is based on age and at certain levels also based on medical

evidence of insurability. Contact the Human Resources Department for more information.

401(k) RETIREMENT

Coltene currently offers all eligible employees the opportunity to participate in a retirement savings

plan designed to allow employees to help generate retirement funds by saving and investing

before-tax dollars and after-tax dollars (Roth) through a voluntary wage contribution. Employees

are automatically enrolled after 90 calendar days of employment with Coltene unless the

employee elects to opt-out. To encourage you to save for your retirement, Coltene currently offers

a safe harbor matching contribution, up to a maximum of four (4) percent, for employees who

elect to enroll. A summary plan description is available from the Human Resources Department.

Investment selections are chosen solely by the employee. The monies invested are not

guaranteed by Coltene.

FAMILY AND MEDICAL LEAVE

All full-time employees who have completed twelve (12) months of employment, have worked at

least one thousand two hundred fifty (1,250) hours during the previous twelve (12) month period

and work at a location within 75 miles of where at least 50 employees are employed by Coltene

are eligible for Family and Medical Leave.

FMLA leave may be taken: (1) for the birth of a child or for the placement of a child with the

employee for foster care or adoption; (2) to care for a newborn child; (3) when an employee has

a serious health condition (i.e., an illness, injury, impairment or physical or mental condition which

involves in-patient care or more than three days of incapacity and continuing treatment by a health

care provider) and which renders the employee unable to perform the functions of their job; or (4)

to care for a spouse, child or parent who has a serious health condition Employees must provide
