DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general supervision, performs a variety of assignments, both technical and clerical, to receive, inspect, store and ship material, but not limited to receipt, control, preparation, material distribution, records, and reports. Receives general direction on new assignment aspects and instructions as to how to perform required tasks and results expected. Duties require manual, clerical, and data entry skills.
- Operates material handling equipment as required to receive, store, and ship material.
- Ability to lift 55pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Prepare parts, surfaces, and equipment for painting by cleaning, masking, and sand blasting as required.
- Operate spray guns, paint booths, and other blasting/painting equipment efficiently and safely.
- Apply paints, coatings, and finishes to products in a consistent and high-quality manner.
- Monitor and maintain proper environmental conditions in the blast booth and paint booth, including air pressure, temperature, and humidity.
- Inspect painted items for quality, ensuring proper coverage, color match, and finish.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of painting equipment and booths to prevent contamination and ensure proper operation.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper ventilation practices.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or quality issues promptly.
- Assist with inventory management of supplies and materials.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production schedules and quality targets.
