CTG is seeking to fill a Data Engineer – Data Warehouse opening for our client in Plano, TX.

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: 12 months

Duties:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines for the enterprise data warehouse environment
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and other engineers to optimize data flow and collection
• Implement ETL processes using tools like DataStage and DBT to ensure timely and accurate data delivery
• Develop and support data integration workflows and job orchestration using Control-M
• Maintain and enhance Snowflake-based data warehouse solutions
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are followed
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and support production processes

Skills:

• Proficiency with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modeling
• Strong experience with Snowflake cloud data platform
• Hands-on expertise in IBM DataStage for ETL development
• Experience with Control-M for job scheduling and workflow orchestration
• Proficient in SQL and data modeling concepts
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in enterprise-level data warehouse environments
• Proven track record of developing scalable data solutions using modern ETL/ELT tools

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
