As a General Production Worker, you will perform cleaning tasks on machinery and work areas using hand tools and equipment such as shovels, scrapers, power washing equipment, and hoses. Your duties will include cleaning ash from products, managing oil spills, and conducting thorough cleanings during machine shutdowns. This position requires repetitive lifting, stooping, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, or crawling, including lifting items up to 50 lbs unassisted and climbing ladders or stairs. Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory in certain areas.

You will work as a third-party contractor at a steel mill, which is hot, dirty, loud, dusty, and oily. The environment requires preparation for these conditions. The standard workweek is 40 hours, with normal start times at 6:30 am for 8-hour shifts, though overtime might require earlier or later start times. You will need steel toe boots, eye protection, hard hats, double hearing protection, and fire-resistant coveralls.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delta, Ohio.
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
