Position Summary
Signify Health LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Dallas, TX: Software Engineer: Design and deliver efficient technical software solutions, software applications, and business-critical distributed systems. Duties include: analyze user needs and develop software solutions that deliver incremental value through iterative, customer-focused software releases; develop specifications and performance requirements that drive long-term software improvements with a focus on simplicity and maintainability; collaborate with product and user experience teams to develop elegant code, state-of-the-art responsive customer experiences, and industry leading technology experiences; write product or system development code and coordinate design reviews with peers and stakeholders to recommend available technology solutions; direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation and coordinate triage efforts to resolve product or system issues; develop critical backend services, perform code reviews, and collaborate with peers on software solutions development and best practices; leverage knowledge of software engineering emerging technologies and build documentation and educational content around emerging technologies; present technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of internal audiences; understand key performance indicators (KPIs) and key business objectives to drive strategic projects and achieve intended business outcomes; continuously monitor software application health and KPIs, and triage production issues as needed; develop and deploy application components and participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD; support end-to-end application delivery and production deployment for software systems used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; and collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices. Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Position also requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Software development for enterprise or web applications; Writing clean, high quality, high performing, scalable code; Testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting; Unit and automation testing; CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps; C#, .NET, or Node.js; XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript; Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; Frameworks: Angular, JavaScript, React, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, or Backbone; JIRA, Rally, or Confluence; and SAS or SQL programming languages.
Pay Range: $105997.00/year to $180000.00/year.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
