DSI is searching for an Operations Manager to add to its team in the Greer, SC area. Come join our fast-growing team.
DSI Security handles the management of uniform security officers. The position will require strict operational oversight on accounts throughout the assigned area.

Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for the day-to-day activities associated with payroll by maintaining schedules and posts worked by Security Officers by regular update and maintenance of DSI's payroll system.
- Ensures all post are manned by qualified officers being especially cognizant of unbillable overtime. All shifts must be filled and confirmed prior to the close of business each day.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable laws.
- Responsible for providing oversight, leadership, and support to branch personnel in order to ensure successful daily operation of the branch
- Ensure that employee and client files are maintained at the branch in accordance company policy.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training processes
- Assists to ensure the branch complies with officer training requirements including: Orientation, Monthly Training / Quarterly Training, Safety Training, Site Training and State Licensing.
- Administer counseling and disciplinary actions as needed
- Ensure the branch adheres to all state and federal regulations
- Manage security operations based on requirements set forth in client contracts
- Ensure the needs of clients are consistently met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Prepare monthly reports reviewing branch operations and client contact
- Maintain client relationships according to company policy to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain sound communication with Branch and Regional Management as it pertains to branch issues.
- Communicate with management regarding all issues, scheduling, staffing, and record keeping that are related to client
- Assist in maintaining control over costs impacting profitability and the financial performance of the branch including, but not limited to, controlling overtime, monitoring all non-billable hours, uniform recovery, etc.
Position Requirements:
- Ideal candidate will possess at minimum a High School Diploma or GED, along with a minimum of two (2) years related experience in the service industry. Prior experience as a manager / supervisor within the contract security industry is highly desired. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Preferred candidates will have experience managing multiple client accounts
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required
- Must possess strong computer skills and proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly effective, energetic leader with the ability to build strong relationships, take initiative, prioritize and manage deadlines
- Dedicated to providing top-notch customer service
- Current state driver's license and a clean driving record
- Valid SLED License is preferred.
Must be able to pass criminal, MVR and drug screenings as part of our pre-employment screening process.
