Shape the Future of AI Through Data Governance

Join our diverse, forward-thinking Data Governance team—responsible for enabling federated governance across Ericsson’s global business units. We're on a mission to ensure Ericsson’s data is structured, governed, and fully AI-ready.

In this role, you’ll lead the development of our metadata and semantic layer strategy, critical for unlocking AI and analytics use cases. You’ll collaborate with data owners across the business, guiding them in aligning IT capabilities with business goals through better data architecture and information stewardship.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement data architecture solutions for the AI-driven future (e.g., DAP 2.0 and integration processes)
• Drive the roadmap for semantic and metadata governance across unstructured and structured datasets
• Partner with stakeholders to align business needs with data strategies and educate on governance best practices
• Help establish semantics, metadata, and data quality frameworks needed for effective AI use case delivery
• Support the development of data governance policies, tools, and standards, ensuring consistency and compliance across domains

What You’ll Bring

• 2–4 years of experience in data governance, information architecture, or data management
• Understanding of core data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA principles)
• Excellent relationship-building skills—able to influence without authority and educate stakeholders
• A strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to connect business use cases to technical design
• Self-driven, pragmatic, and curious about new technologies and data use in AI systems

A Unique Development Opportunity

As part of Ericsson’s GO Beyond program, this permanent role includes a 6-month secondment to another Global Functions team. This secondment offers you exposure to a new area of the business (e.g., finance, operations, or legal), expanding your internal network and cross-functional insights, while maintaining your primary role (when you return back) and progression within the Data Governance team.

This is a career-defining opportunity to step into a high-visibility, business-critical area of Ericsson and contribute meaningfully from day one.
