Carpenter Apprentice
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Carpenter Apprentice to join a local company in Omaha, NE.
Position Details:
- Type: Direct Hire/Evaluation Hire
- Schedule: 7am-5pm, M-F
- Location: Omaha, NE
- Pay/Salary: $18-$20/hour
Job Duties:
- Learn on the job skills like reading, writing, and managing blueprints
- Measure, cut, shape, and install wood and other materials
- Help journeymen construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, floors, doors, windows, and cabinetry
- Perform entry level framing, drywall, trim, and some carpentry
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely
- Follow all OSHA safety standards and company procedures
- Collaborate with other trades and supervisors on job sites
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous carpentry or related experience preferred
- Some knowledge of construction techniques and materials
- Proficient with hand and power tool
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
