Title: Systems Engineer (Data Engineering)

Duties: The Systems Engineer (Data Engineering) will work on projects including architecture design, development of data related instruments, data pipeline development and maintenance, data pipeline stability, and machine learning algorithm and model deployment. You will also manage data and meta-data, data access, and data management/analytics tools. You will design data platforms and cloud-based technical architecture, use programming skills to develop and manage databases and tools, test system performance and reliability; and work to ensure data integrity through datawarehouse, data governance, and master data management initiatives.

Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related and 5 years of software development experience, including:

• Model implementation, evaluation, testing and deployment
• Design test/control strategies for field tests
• Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, and programming languages (Java, R, Python, SAS)
• At least 2 years of the following:
• Unix Shell scripting and implementing solutions
• Machine learning
• Data engineering (Python/R/SAS), data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis and tests

Employer will give 2 years’ experience credit for a Master’s degree in a related field.
