York College, CUNY seeks a highly motivated and experienced professional that is student centric to serve as the Equity & Compliance Manager in the Office of Diversity and Compliance. This full-time position reports to the Chief Diversity Officer (CDO) and plays a critical role in supporting the College’s commitment to a safe, equitable, and inclusive learning and working environment.
The Equity & Compliance Manager will lead investigations related to complaints of Title IX, EEO, sexual misconduct, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, while also providing support for affirmative action compliance and recruitment equity. This dual-capacity role ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, and supports institutional efforts to embed equity into all employment and campus processes.
The Equity & Compliance Program Manager is responsible for conducting thorough investigations into complaints related to Title IX, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other forms of discrimination. This role involves developing and administering Compliance Plans to ensure institutional compliance with applicable regulations, as well as preparing and analyzing demographic and employment data to support these plans. The Program Manager supports equitable hiring practices by assisting with job searches and recruitment compliance, and delivers training programs focused on diversity, equity, compliance, and policy education. Additionally, the role includes tracking and analyzing data related to job searches, demographics, complaints, and accommodations, maintaining detailed case records, and producing comprehensive investigative reports. The Program Manager ensures timely communication with complainants and respondents, collaborates with campus partners to coordinate responses to reported incidents, and fosters a welcoming, inclusive, and equitable campus environment. This position also assists in classifying and identifying incidents for record-keeping purposes, policy development, assessment and actively participates in relevant committees and training sessions.

$94,909 - $105,816 - Salary commensurate with education and experience.
CUNY is in the process of implementing salary schedule increases. Once implemented, salaries of eligible employees will increase by approximately 9.54% with an additional increase of 3.5% effective 9/1/26, in accordance with the terms of the PSC-CUNY collective bargaining agreement.
