Job Description Summary

The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for the execution of design deliverables for the Americas organization. This position leads a team of designers, is responsible for team performance and development, and on daily basis, oversees service delivery. The Marketing Operations Manager is ultimately accountable for providing an exceptional level of marketing support and expertise, and effectively collaborates with the Director of the Production Design Hub, peers and colleagues to ensure the team is implementing and sharing best practices.

About the Role:

  • Manages a team of Team Leaders, Designers, and QA Specialists
  • Responsible for team development, performance management, on-going training and new employee onboarding
  • Analyzes operations on on-going basis and implements strategies for improvement, where needed
  • Tracks, analyzes and reports on work volume and types; works with Project Coordinator to ensure data accuracy
  • Keeps Production Design Hub Director apprised of issues, progress, and status of projects
  • Provides clear communication with Americas partners and Project Points of Contact
  • Responsible for overseeing work intake and work assignment based on team capacity, pipeline, experience and talent/skill fit
  • Helps the team understand projects—vision, expectations, directions, content assets, etc.
  • Oversees project schedules and problem solves, as necessary
  • Recognizes issues—at project level, team level, process level, etc.—and proactively addresses them to solve
  • Works in close partnership with the Project Management Team, to manage a team’s workflow and production pipeline, supporting project intake, project coordination, traffic management, etc.
  • Effectively tracks multiple projects simultaneously, working with Team Leads and Production Designers, to ensure project milestones are on track.
  • Ensures timely delivery of projects
  • Provides a layer of quality control review, as required on a project basis. Ensures team is appropriately staffed for work volume on a real-time basis based on current projects and pipeline of projects
  • Works with AMS Marketing Centers leadership team to fill staffing gaps
  • Develops strong relationships with peers within the Americas organization, and with colleagues within the greater Marketing Function in Manila.
  • Fosters teamwork and trust among team, colleagues and other stakeholders

About You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience as a primary marketing leader overseeing a team of marketing professionals
  • In-depth knowledge on marketing operations and people development, preferably in a Shared Services environment
  • Commercial real estate or professional services experience preferred
  • Strong ability to problem-solve with the ability to work effectively, efficiently, independently and as a team leader in a deadline-driven, dynamic office environment
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite; Adobe Creative Suite knowledge a plus
  • Ability to communicate effective with colleagues across significant time zones with time delays in responses
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills
  • Exceptional leadership skills
