Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

  • Transform business requirements into technical solutions on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, collaborate with senior stakeholders, provide development guidance, translate issues into clear terms, align technical work with business strategy, and ensure security, resilience, and compatibility in the solution design
  • Oversee and provide technical analysis and design expertise during development of APIs which will include integration work using Anypoint Studio, MuleSoft CloudHub tenant, Snowflake, and IBM
  • Assess technology trends and guide solution design by moving IT business strategies forward, providing product plans and road maps with a deep understanding of cross-functional dependencies
  • Mediate between people and stakeholders while evolving governance and taking responsibility for supporting services, knowing how to assure they are delivered by other technical architect across a variety of business information systems
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field and 6 plus years of related experience or 9 plus years of specific experience
  • MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect – Level 1 (MCIA) or MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect – Level 1 (MCPA)
  • 3 plus years of experience in an Architect role on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (4.x)

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree
  • Proficient in defining MuleSoft architecture, including CloudHub/on-prem environments, API design, security, and lifecycle management; experienced in VPC design, VPN configurations, and CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft API deployment within Agile SDLC
  • Experience with SQL, RPG, ETL tools, .NET, Agile/SCRUM teams, and performance engineering
