This position reports to the Data Analytics Manager. We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure that support our analytics, reporting, and data science initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud-based data platforms, and is enthusiastic about enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
  • Build and optimize data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support business intelligence and machine learning use cases.
  • Implement ETL/ELT processes to clean, transform, and enrich data from structured and unstructured sources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver high-quality datasets.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and quality throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and operational teams to deliver curated datasets and support advanced analytics use cases.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Travel 15%-30%, domestically and/or internationally as needed.

Skills/Experience We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with specific experience in the Azure cloud environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and working with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling and performance tuning.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Must be naturally curious and a result-oriented individual who not only identifies problems but finds solutions.
  • Provide direction and assist team members through mentoring, collaboration, and code reviews.

Pay Range:

73,200.00 - 109,800.00
