Electromechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembler to join our team. This role involves performing manual soldering of components in a printed circuit board assembly environment, ensuring adherence to company operating procedures and quality standards. This position pays up to $27/hr.

Responsibilities

• Perform component-level soldering with precision and expertise.
• Manually solder components in a printed circuit board assembly environment.
• Complete all paperwork associated with assembly orders accurately.
• Follow all company operating procedures and quality standards diligently.
• Conduct surface-mount and through-hole soldering on printed circuit boards.
• Trim, clip, and tin wires and leads effectively.
• Adhere plastic components and pot/seal completed work.
• Properly label finished products to ensure accurate identification.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in soldering, PCB assembly, and surface-mount technology.
• 3-5 years of experience in moderate to complex electromechanical assembly.
• 3-5 years of experience in thru-hole soldering of SMT components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Understanding of IPC standards, particularly IPC 610 certification is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with ITAR compliance.
• Knowledge of electronic assembly and repair processes.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean manufacturing facility with a focus on quality and precision in assembly processes. The role requires wearing steel-toed boots and working the first shift from 7am to 3:30pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Forest, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
