Job Title: General Production / Machine Operator - $19.50/hr.

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a General Production Worker on the 2nd shift. This role offers a unique opportunity to train on the 1st shift for three weeks, with training hours from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm. Once trained, you'll transition to the 2nd shift, working from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a duration of 90 days then you go Direct based off work ethic and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage a variety of machines efficiently.
• Inspect small parts such as screws and bolts for quality defects.
• Run two machines simultaneously based on workload demands.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and assist with setups.
• Work with epoxy materials occasionally.
• Utilize hand tools to loosen parts.
• Learn to change pumps and perform machine setups.
• Load and unload parts into machines.
• Apply sealant to fasteners.
• Hand feed machines and box parts for packaging.
• Lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
• Sort and package parts effectively.
• Receive cross-training in other departments.
• Stand in one spot for extended periods during repetitive tasks.
• Operate an industrial patch machine requiring great hand-eye coordination.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a machine operator.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Proficiency in using hand tools for machine setups and changeovers.
• Experience working in industrial manufacturing with loud machine environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Steel toe boots are required.
• Openness to working some Saturdays from 6 am to 12 pm.
• Willingness to start shifts at 5 am when necessary.
• Preferred experience in machine changeovers and fast-paced environments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
