Achieving and exceeding budget goals through the cost-effective operation of the Company’s network encompassing air and ground line haul, gateways, and distribution facilities of the country.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsibility for definition and execution of short- and long-term strategy for Operations function in accordance with the divisional direction
Effective management of profitability, productivity, cost effectiveness and service quality within the budget
Managing country operating budgets within principles set by division / region and proposals for investments in infrastructure, technology, equipment, systems, or other resources on the country level
Managing the team of Managers in Operations function
Establishing direction, operating standards and procedures to provide superior quality of service and customer service
Standardizing operational practices and optimizing work method in order to maximize productivity improvement
Supervising goals achievement in the subordinate area in terms of service quality
Analyzing, controlling and approving country investments
Supervision over support and implementation of operational processes for the clients of DHL Express’ customers
Responsibility for Projects, Administration, OPS Support and Security Departments
Building engagement and commitment among Operations employees
Adapting KPIs and the organizational structure of the function to meet business needs
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Over 10 years of experience in logistics / operations preferably in international courier industry (mandatory)
Experience on OPS Director level (mandatory)
Experience in managing and leading team of Senior Managers
Fluency in English (mandatory)
Ability to Establish good relationship with managers and employees on different levels of the Company
Flexibility, openness to changes and ability to drive them
