Responsibilities
Corporate Planning & Analysis develops / maintains budgets and financial systems while providing current, reliable financial data, analysis, and technical info.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll perform research work and prepare financial analysis to make essential Corporate planning decisions. This role would work with our space & assortment analytics team to support category managers & work as an advisor on emerging trends, while making reccomendations on changes & measuring financial impacts.

What is the work?
Analytics / Management:
- Uses advanced analytic skills and knowledge of multiple categories to provide credible, action-oriented analyses and recommendations to leadership
- Designs / develops analysis processes and tools focused on the business unit's plan and scorecard
- Serves as a constant to the business unit regarding P&A programs, processes, and policies
- Assists in development of category performance improvement strategies; continually evaluates project performance
- Develops highly-complex costing models for analysis of information used to develop business unit programs and changes
- Works with Supply Chain, IS, and Merchandising to fully utilize system resources; recommends process improvements and system enhancements
- Participates in / may lead cross-departmental projects as necessary
- Performs Business Analyst II duties
What is your background?
- A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
- 6+ years of experience
- 6+ years of experience in retail or business analysis
- Experience successfully working complex issues with senior management
- Experience applying retail accounting and finance principles to development of costing / forecasting models
