Job Description:

This is a supervisory role within the Distribution Compensation team, responsible for managing compensation payments related to the Brokerage, Tied Agency, and Bancassurance. The primary objective is to ensure all compensation payments are processed in a timely, legitimate, and accurate manner. The role also involves analyzing payment data to identify irregular trends and acting as a close business partner to various channels. Key responsibilities include supporting both regular and ad hoc compensation packages and providing relevant advice and solutions for system enhancement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly payroll and ad hoc payments for channels.
• Collaborate closely with various business team on initial service setup and ongoing enhancements post-launch.
• Support the management of special payment arrangements, treatments, and validations.
• Handle data extraction and reporting for special requests and projects.
• Partner with compensation system experts to explore automation opportunities for specialized reporting.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in distribution compensation within the insurance industry.
• Basic accounting knowledge and sound understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions.
• Strong understanding of system workflows and logic.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized and self-motivated.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, particularly in distribution compensation.
• Post-secondary education required.
• Prior experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
