Saint Joseph Children’s Hospital is currently recruiting for a Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrician to service our busy clinical practice of a culturally and clinically diverse population. The incoming Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrician will work a full-time schedule and will have the opportunity to do research and teach. There are multiple practice locations for Child Developmental services including Paterson, Wayne and Rochelle Park. The practices operate 5 days per week, with rotation to all three locations each week. Call rotation is 1:3. Approximately 10-20% of time can be devoted to teaching/research.
Our Inpatient and Outpatient service treats children and young adults (birth through 21 years of age) and works with their families to diagnose and manage a full range of Developmental conditions.

The successful candidate will work with a multi-disciplinary group to provide quality, culturally competent patient care and provide outpatient training to medical students and our pediatric residents. The ideal candidate should have an interest in teaching, community pediatrics, and serving underserved communities.

Pay transparency: St. Joseph’s Health provides a salary range to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc.” The salary range does not include incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
St. Joseph’s University Medical Center is an academic tertiary care medical center and state designated trauma center, located on the Paterson campus, regularly accepts referrals of difficult or unusual cases from other hospitals and physicians and performs both complex and routine procedures.
