Job Description

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the Cloud services infrastructure and automation crucial for the release processes of code and applications through development, test, and production environments. You will lead the adoption of DevOps best practices across the Engineering teams and develop strategies and tooling to allow them to own code to be continuously built tested, deployed, and monitored as a part of a modern cloud-native CMMS platform.

Responsibilities

  • Own the cloud infrastructure and resources with attention to cost and resilience
  • Lead initiatives to improve the monitoring and observability of platform, products, and cost.
  • On-call support for incident management and disaster recovery.
  • Proficient in managing containers and orchestration systems at large scale.
  • Lead the implementation and adoption of automation solutions for build, test, and deployment.
  • Partner with the Engineering teams to improve our continuous integration and testing system.
  • Lead initiatives and improvements to the tools and in-house frameworks.

Experience and Competencies

The following experience is expected to be successful in this role.

Required

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps
  • Proficient in managing infrastructure with cloud providers, preferably AWS.
  • Proficient with declarative infrastructure and continuous delivery as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Argos CD).
  • Proficient in Linux administration and networking.
  • Experience evangelizing DevOps' best practices to Engineering teams.
  • Experience in designing systems for High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Performance, Efficiency, and Security.
  • Experience programming in Python or shell.

Desirable

  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator and/or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
  • CKA, CKAD and CKS certification is a good to have
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science or similar fields.
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins Pipeline and Job DSL is a plus.

Bonus or Equity

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Pay Range

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 120,500.00 - 223,900.00
