Description

The Waldinger Corporation, a growing Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Sheet Metal industry leader, is adding a Workday Integration and Reporting Developer to our Corporate HRIS team!

This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting Workday integrations, custom Extend applications, and delivering accurate, timely, and actionable reporting to meet the needs of internal stakeholders across HR and the broader organization. This position is based out of our Des Moines, IA Corporate Office, however, qualified remote candidates will be considered.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Workday's integration tools (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, Extend Development, etc.) and reporting capabilities (Advanced Reports, Dashboards/Hubs, Calculated Fields, etc.), along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and maintain integrations between Workday and internal/external systems using tools such as EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, and Workday Web Services (REST/SOAP APIs); monitor and resolve integration issues.
  • Create and maintain custom Workday reports, dashboards, and scorecards; develop calculated fields and custom objects to meet complex business requirements and deliver data-driven insights.
  • Work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and external vendors to understand business needs and deliver integrated HRIS solutions that support strategic goals.
  • Stay current on Workday features and best practices; participate in release management, testing, and process improvements to enhance system performance, reliability, and usability.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, maintain thorough documentation, and deliver training and support to HRIS team members and end users.Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting Workday integrations and reporting, including support of highly customized integrations, reports, and Extend applications.
  • Experience with Prism Analytics and other business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake preferred.)
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, or related/equivalent experience
  • Workday functional certification in HCM or PATT workstreams preferred
