The key responsibilities of the Material Handler are maintaining the orderly acceptance, coding and restocking of inventory.
Experience Required: At least 1 year of verifiable work experience performing duties normally found in the operation of a warehouse requiring lifting of objects at or greater then 35 lbs and ability to operate machinery normally associated with a warehouse, e.g., forklift. Someone who has done construction/heavy equipment operating would be nice.
Skills Required: Must be able to read a tape measure.
Education Requirements: -MINIMUM- high school diploma, or equivalent.
Qualities Required: Ability to work with others on team assignments to address a variety of issues that impact corporate quality, discipline, and morale.
Physical Requirements: The majority of work is conducted in a warehouse on a daily basis to rack metal products or pull metal products required to fill customer orders. Position requires visual and tactile inspections of metal products. Some physical lifting is required.
