SAVA is seeking to hire an IT Analyst I to support the U.S. Army at the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC), based at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The ideal applicant should demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, solid expertise in the relevant IT field, a strong commitment to the mission, and a dedicated work ethic.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve customer inquiries and issues related to IT services, applications, and equipment.
  • Provide technical assistance to customers to minimize disruptions of computer operations.
  • Maintain documentation and metrics for all requests which will be monitored weekly by the Government.
  • Identify and assess customer issues related to hardware, software, or communications, take appropriate steps to resolve them, or escalate the issue to a higher-level IT representative in accordance with organizational IT policies or test mission requirements.
  • Provide feedback, updates and status to users on their requests for assistance according to local procedures as directed by the Government.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • A current Secret security clearance is required (an Interim Secret may be considered).
  • Active DoD 8570 IAT Level I Certification (Baseline Requirement).
  • High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience.
  • Experience required in deploying IT hardware such as desktop computers, laptops, tablets, monitors, and printers.
  • Experience configuring IT hardware to resolve problems and installing/configuring operating system images and specialty software on customer devices.

  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
  • Ability to adhere to government policies and requirements.

This hybrid position requires applicants to be within 1.5 – 2 hours commute from Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
