Credentialing Account Manager (remote)

This is a remote position open to any qualified applicant in the United States.

Summary:

The Credentialing Account Manager oversees the end-to-end credentialing process for healthcare providers, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to payers. This role serves as the main point of contact for clients, manages documentation, and coordinates with internal teams to resolve issues and maintain compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison for assigned clients post-implementation.
  • Manage credentialing workflows including CAQH validation, document collection, and payer submissions.
  • Track application progress and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and credentialing systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Provide regular updates and performance insights to clients and leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in credentialing, healthcare account management, or payer relations.
  • Familiarity with CAQH, Medicare/Medicaid, and commercial payer processes.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until June 21, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $55,000 - $65,000 depending on experience and other

qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and

subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
