Generative AI Technology Lead - Hybrid in Hartford, CT.

About the role

As a Generative AI Technology Lead, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge AI applications using frameworks like LangChain and similar tools. You will lead the creation of agentic GenAI systems that can autonomously perform complex tasks, enhancing business processes through intelligent automation.

In this role, you will:

• GenAI App Development: Build and optimize Generative AI applications using LangChain and other frameworks, integrating LLMs to deliver dynamic, context-aware solutions.
• Agentic Systems: Contribute to the development of agentic GenAI apps that simulate autonomous decision-making and task execution.
• Custom ML Models: Train and deploy lightweight machine learning models tailored to business use cases such as classification, comparison, and predictive analytics.
• Database Integration: Work with NoSQL databases to manage and retrieve data efficiently for AI-driven applications.
• Cloud Engineering: Architect and deploy scalable solutions on cloud platforms like Azure and GCP, ensuring high availability and performance.
• API Development: Design and implement robust APIs to enable seamless integration between AI services and enterprise systems.
• Python Expertise: Leverage advanced Python programming skills to build reliable, maintainable, and high-performance AI solutions.

Work model: Remote or Hybrid at New York , NY.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in New York, NY. What you need to have to be considered

• Skilled in coding Generative AI apps with langchain and other similar frameworks
• Experience in development of Agentic GenAI apps is a plus.
• Skilled in training and consuming custom light weight Machine learning models for business use cases like classification/comparison etc.
• Skilled working with Databases NoSQL preferably.
• Skilled at Software Engineering and familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure/GCP.
• Skilled in API development and integrations.
• Expert in Python Programming.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until July 20th 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $98,500 - $115,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
