POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for working directly with the Bank’s Stock Transfer Agent (STA) on all 1st Source stock purchases and sales transactions, dividend funding, ESOP Plan. Provides client support access to Trust System Online Portal; including setting up new clients, helping clients when log in fails and provides support by going to client’s home when needed. Responsible for directing the Trust Coordinators day-to-day Trust activities.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the 1st Source Stock; including purchases and sales.
  • Works directly with the Bank’s Stock Transfer Agent (STA) and serves as the primary point of contact with the STA.
  • Works directly with the CFO on requested 1st Source Stock purchases and HR for ESOP Plan.
  • Works directly with STA on dividend funding to be provided to Accounting Department.
  • Coordinates Annual Shareholder’s meeting and shareholder proxy voting to ensure accurate reporting to General Counsel.
  • Facilitates 1st Source Stock sales for former and current Bank employees and provides information to Accounting for year-end sales reporting.
  • Works directly with Proxy Vendor to monitor and ensure all 1st Source Stock shares are voted prior to annual meeting.
  • Verifies at year end that all 1099 DIV forms are accurate for current and former employees who hold shares with the STA.
  • Responsible for directing and reviewing the daily work flow of Trust Coordinators to ensure operating schedules are met.
  • Responsible for receiving and liquidating fee receivables for WAS.
  • Supports and provides assistance to WAS Trust Controller.
  • Reviews and recommends new methods and procedures to make daily operations more efficient.
  • Deals with exceptional items or unusual situations, referring complex situations to Manager as deemed necessary.
  • Serves as back-up in Manager’s absence.
  • Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position.
  • Must understand all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and complies with the requirements.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Performs all other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • Five (5) or more years’ of Trust Operations experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of database software and/or database systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of Stock Transfer Agent systems preferred.
  • Good PC skills--proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office is essential (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to travel as needed for meetings, projects, seminars, etc.
