Position Description:
Builds server-side Java Web services and enterprise integration business logic frameworks to implement customer-facing user interfaces and third-party integrations. Connects complex applications and services, using modern REST Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and code generation open APIs. Develops multi-thread batch applications using Spring Frameworks -- Spring Boot, Spring Integration, and Spring Batch. Uses business knowledge to translate the vision for divisional initiatives into business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications and conducting studies of alternatives. Analyzes and recommends changes in project development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to development experts and management.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing and developing Rest APIs and web applications in a Wealth Management Financial Planning platform using Java/J2EE.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing and developing Rest APIs and web applications in a Wealth Management Financial Planning platform using Java/J2EE.
