Position Description:
Builds and deploys cloud enabled applications using 12 factor design. Develops maintainable and scalable multi-tiered applications -- JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS, NodeJS, and React. Builds automation pipelines using DevOps concepts and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools -- Git, Maven, Jenkins, and uDeploy. Develops software applications using Unix and Shell scripts, test automation tools and frameworks -- SOA, and API frameworks -- SOAP and REST. Performs programming in core Java and Python. Works in an Agile environment using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
Primary Responsibilities:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Systems and Security, Mathematics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) performing development security operations, automation, and Cloud infrastructure enablement in a full stack environment.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Systems and Security, Mathematics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) performing development security operations, automation, and Cloud infrastructure enablement in a full stack environment.
