Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for conducting AI research on career trajectory analytics. Successful candidate will be part of an active research team led by Prof LIM Ee Peng from School of Computing and Information Systems, Singapore Management University.
Candidate's core responsibilities are:
- Code development
- Preparation of datasets
- AI model training
- Data analysis and visualization
- Experiment design and implementation
- Software documentation
- Meeting arrangement
- Presentation
- Report writing
- Other duties assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning; with particular focus on AI and Data Science.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant research experience in AI.
- Proficiency in programming software/languages such as Python and Java will be positively considered/ is required.
- Proven track record and professional experience in AI research.
- Demonstrated experience and know-how on training or finetuning AI models.
- Excellent working knowledge of statistics analysis and mathematical modeling.
- Technical skills in TensorFlow and Pytorch.
- Ability to break down complex problems and design effective solutions.
- Innovating new approaches and thinking outside the box.
- Applicants with research publications in NLP and Information Retrieval area will be advantageous.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a small, agile academic research team is essential.
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively with team members.
