We are looking for a research assistant to work on the development of reconfigurable electromagnetic coil system for collaborative control of multiple capsule robots.

Key Responsbilities

The research assistant will work on a project to conduct the investigation on development of ingestible robotic system to enable non-invasive diagnosis and therapeutics in the gastrointestinal tract.

The roles of this position include:

• To conduct research on the development of ingestible electronic/robotic platform capable of continuous monitoring and on-demand for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease.
• Integration of power management circuit, actuators for motion control, and monitoring sensors.

Job Requirements

• BS in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, computer engineering, or related field
• 4-year research experience in related area
• Expertise in embedded system and Robotic Operation System
• Knowledge in interfacing circuit design for power management
• Experience in electromagnetic fields control is highly preferred
• Publication track record is an advantage
• Proficiency in basics of programming languages such as C, C++ and Python
